Ashley Chloe is looking for someone who is ready to making a difference in a budding fashion tech startup with key metric analysis that supports decision-making.
Develop data infrastructure (ETLs, data models, and reports) and other tools to make analytics easier and more effective. Maintain documentation of all key findings.
Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and models to support marketing decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to): retention, lifetime value, messaging, promotions, usage and engagement.
Extract required data from internal systems, identify the right metrics needed, develop reports and analyze them to understand and monitor key trends in these metrics.
Identify opportunities for automated monitoring and work with engineering resources to implement automation.
Be a thought leader and go-to-expert on data resources and tools to uncover unique actionable insights about people, events and media.
Manage integration of disparate, user-level data sets into a unified view to develop segmentation models and identify growth opportunities with uncovered segments and channels.
Produce visuals and presentations to clearly and effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
Design and implement reporting dashboards that track key metrics and performance trends, and provide actionable insights to marketing leadership.
Analyze and maintain marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and behavioral and attitudinal outcomes.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities through systematic and rigorous measurement and analysis.
Help drive performance marketing, improve referral strategy, analyze viral loops, perform SEO, optimize landing pages, improve funnels and everything in between.
Enable long-tail acquisition, activation, and retention through effective use of data.
Design and report on incrementality testing, including channel impact of email marketing or digital advertising.
Lead development of marketing attribution model across integrated channels to optimize ROI.
Drive projects focusing on new user growth, and revenue - working closely with design, product, engineering, and marketing teams.
Use tools like Hadoop/Hive, Oracle, ETL, R, PHP, Python, Excel, MicroStrategy, and others to work efficiently at scale.
Design and manage A/B or multivariate testing programs.
- Manage online sales channels and storefronts’ optimization, advertising campaigns based on data analysis.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Physics, or other quantitative field (Master's or Doctorate degree preferred).
3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, finance, engineering, or analytics.
Experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.) is required.Experience with statistical analysis. Stat packages such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc. is a plus.
Familiar with HTML and CSS and fluency in at least programming language (Python, Java, C/C++, ect). Software development experience preferred.
Ability to communicate results of analyses in a clear and effective manner.
Understanding of web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics preferred. Experience with Tableau is a plus.
Experience with digital advertising tracking, measurement, and metrics.
Strong process and project management skills with successful experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
Ability to process and analyze complex data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions. Knowledge of financial, operational, and marketing principles.
Excellent statistical and data analysis/modeling skills (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, etc.).
- Detail oriented and expert in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the capability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated, sometimes working unsociable hours, with ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision.
