The Consumer Technology Association’s CES is one of the largest tech conferences in the world. Our team at Ashley Chloe was honored to have been able to attend the event and had an incredible time presenting the Helix Cuff. Being surrounded by so many startups with unique ideas and large companies continuing to innovate was inspiring.
Meeting our Backers
Throughout CES we were lucky enough to have been able to meet some of our Kickstarter backers! It was such a fun experience to get to know them and let them try the Helix Cuff’s latest prototype. Seeing friendly faces as we promote Helix Cuff around the world is so appreciated by our team. Meeting some of our supporters who helped us reach the point where we could attend CES was amazing.
We were pleasantly surprised by how many people dropping by had heard of the Helix Cuff previously. Presenting Helix Cuff to industry professionals is a great way for our team at Ashley Chloe to get the word out about Helix Cuff and get contacts that will help us offer our wireless Bluetooth headphones worldwide. It’s also cool to see all the other startups around us and learn along with them. The Consumer Electronics Show is truly one of a kind and we were thrilled to be attending with numerous Helix Cuff Kickstarter backers.
At CES 2016, Ashley Chloe Inc. was invited to several media events including CES Unveiled and Bluetooth SIG to meet with the press. Both of these events were attended by media and in the days following we received a fantastic amount of press all over the world.
FashInvest named us one of the top fashion tech crowdfunding campaigns of the year. Mashable and Reviewed.com featured video reviews of the Helix Cuff and how easy it is to take out and put in the wireless Bluetooth headphones. Digital Trends named Helix Cuff one of nine awesome mobile accessories at CES and USA Today highlighted the wearable headphones as one of their CES Editor’s Choice picks. Ubergizmo featured the Helix Cuff for a second time and Tom’s Guide posted a Youtube video about Helix Cuff’s “Musical Secret”. Our wearable was also profiled by Washington Post and CNET. Helix Cuff even made it on TV for a hot tech segment on PIX11 in New York.
It’s been amazing for our team to see how interested the media is in the Helix Cuff and share the product with their readers around the world.
We came to CES excited about being a CES Innovation Awards Honoree. The CES Innovation Awards honor outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products. We spent a lot of time focusing on the design of the Helix Cuff and creating the cuff’s storage mechanism. Not to mention, adding the technology including cVc noise reduction, Aptx stereo quality sound, and multipoint connectivity. With all this hard work, we were so grateful to be an honoree. The Helix Cuff was displayed along with all the other award winners and highlighted at the CES Unveiled product showcase.
At CES, we were surprised to win two more awards! Reviewed.com honored us as an Editor’s Choice Award winner. Each year they look through the hundreds of new products and select the best in the show to present to consumers on their website and USA Today. We really appreciated this unexpected honor.
The Helix Cuff also won a Parent Tested, Parent Approved award that helps identify products that have been tested and recommended by North America’s largest parent testing community. Our team had no idea that we would be so honored at CES 2016. Both of the awards we won at the event came as a surprise because we were secretly judged for them. We’re proud of the Helix Cuff and the amazing things it’s accomplished at CES.
It’s just been six months since the beginning of our Kickstarter campaign and Helix Cuff has already achieved so much. We want to thank our backers and supporters who have helped us come so far. It’s just the beginning of 2016 and the Helix Cuff has already made a big splash. We are constantly thinking of you and looking forward to sharing the Helix Cuff with you.
